Sig Rogich Middle School has many amazing teachers and smart, successful students, just like Kamika Francis, who is a 7th grade student. Out of school, Kamika is a swimmer and is very active doing other things. She has swim practice almost every night, and her coaches work her very hard. On top of all of that, Kamika is a straight A student and focuses directly on school everyday. Her favorite part about Rogich Middle School is that the teachers push every student very hard to get good grades and do all of their work in time. Kamika says that she enjoys seeing her friends everyday. I asked her if she thinks we have enough social time she said, “Yes, lunches are long enough to catch up with your friends and also eat your food in time for your next class.” Although Kamika has a lot to do every night on top of tons of homework with her being in all accelerated classes, she stays on task, and gets good grades. Kamika is a great example of a good student and can make a good influence on everyone around her and in her classes.
