The meaning of sports is an ¨activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against  others for their entertainment.¨ The word sports is a noun. A synonym would be athletics and an antonym could be a hobby or anything not related to sports. Now what can sports do for you?

Being active, such as doing sports is very helpful and help with your health in many ways. First of all, being active is one way to prevent diseases such as cancer and increases your lifespan. Being active also gives you the benefit of strengthening your bones and muscles.

If you did not know, the heart is a muscle that needs to be exercised and worked out. Without working out, your blood pressure can get to high and other complications can occur. To add on doing any type of sports, can help reduce stress and clear your mind.

Sports are not the only thing that can help with your health! You can also be healthy by even just eating healthier, getting enough sleep,

These are all the reasons why you should be active and play some sports or even get out and work out! It never gets easier, you just get better!
