What to do Over the Summer!

Summer is three months long and eventually hanging out with friends at your house is going to get boring. So, what is one supposed to do for three whole months, other than going on vacation? Luckily, we live in Las Vegas with lots of stuff to do!

Summer is almost here and Wet n’ Wild is already open. Going to Wet n’ Wild is a great, inexpensive way to spend the day with friends and family, and because it’s Las Vegas, it’s a great way to beat the heat. They have 3 different types of season passes that you can get, so then you can go all you want. They range in price from $60-$106. If you’re not planning on going that often, it’s $34.99 for an all day entry pass. You should check Groupon before you go, they usually have the one day pass at a better price.

Adventuredome at Circus Circus is open year round and is a fun place for people who love roller coasters to spend their day. Plus, it’s indoors, away from the heat. A regular pass is $31.95, and that is for people that are 48 inches or taller. A junior pass for people under 48 inches is only $17.95. They do have plenty of rides for your younger siblings, too, and they recently added roller skating.

Another Vegas attraction is the High Roller! If you’re not afraid of heights, this is an exciting way to see the whole city. You can go on the High Roller at almost anytime of the day. It is open from 11:30 am-2:00 am.  For youth tickets (ages 7-17) a daytime pass is $10 and a nighttime one is $20. Kids 6 and under are free. For people above 17 years old, the daytime pass is $24.95 and nighttime is $34.95. A single ride lasts 30 minutes. While your down there, the Strip is full of lots of other fun stuff for you to do as well.

Then, there are some relaxing things to do over the summer as well. The West Wind Drive-In movie theater is always a fun place to go with some friends and family. You can always get a double feature. The prices vary by day and age. Their website has all the details you will need to plan your night out. Otherwise, you always have the regular movie theaters. Watching Spider Man: Far From Home, coming out July 5, is not a bad way to spend a summer day.

If you would rather be active, then Flip n’ Out Xtreme and Gravady are two places that are open for lots of fun all day long. If you don’t know, they are trampoline places with dodge ball, trampolines, and lots of other cool stuff. At Flip n’ Out Xtreme, they have deals where you can buy one hour, two hours, or an all day pass. For Gravity the prices are different for the amount of time, day, and age. See their websites for details. Good luck on finals and enjoy your vacation!
