When November finally comes around, the first thing to pop into someone’s head is Thanksgiving, fall, warmth, and comfy clothing. Now that the chilly, calm month has arrived at last, it is time to think about Thanksgiving dinner. Dinner at Thanksgiving is usually pretty simple; a table or two covered with turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce and maybe even some green bean casserole. This simple dinner can get pretty basic so how about shaking things up this Thanksgiving? Here’s a sweet, delicious recipe to add to your dinner this Thanksgiving.

Crust Ingredients:

  • A pan at least 10 inches wide (this is needed for both the crust and the filling)
  • 2 cups of crushed graham crackers
  • 1/4 granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • Melted butter (just use as much as needed)

Crust Instructions:

  1. Stir together all of your ingredients thoroughly (make sure it isn’t grainy)
  2. Lather butter onto the bottom of the pan and make sure it is completely buttered for the crust to stick
  3. Though this is not a part of the recipe, sometimes refrigerating is best to keep the crust together
  4. Press the mixture into the bottom of the pan

Filling Ingredients:

  • A pan at least 10 inches wide (this is needed for both the crust and the filling)
  • 2 large packages of cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 2/3 of granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • White chocolate chips

Filling Instructions:

  1. Make the filling by mixing together the room-temperature cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  2. Mix in the eggs, white chocolate and vanilla in a different bowl, mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the filling on top of the crust.
  4. Bake it for 30 minutes
  5. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and leave it to cool for about 10 minutes

Hopefully, this cheesecake with white chocolate chips and raspberry sauce will make everyone just a little bit more thankful this Thanksgiving.

Another piece of yummy pumpkin pie is being sliced at Thanksgiving dinner with a small butter knife.
