Different Thanksgiving Foods

Thanksgiving is a national holiday in the United States for everyone to celebrate. It’s the time of year to be grateful for everything you have gotten in the past year! Most of the time you have traditions for Thanksgiving, but, in different countries, food is different for everyone.

The most popular food is the American style dinner. It consists of turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie. In Mexico, it’s a different type of cuisine and different foods they have for Thanksgiving. They have fried polenta with chorizo, mango pomegranate guacamole, roasted corn, chile cornbread, and galletas de suero. In China, it’s very different than Mexico and America. They eat steamed crab, steamed rice, veggie filled dumplings, chicken, and cooked eggplant. As you can see, people from different countries eat different foods.

Thanksgiving is the time of year when you and your family gather around the dinner table to eat food and talk about what you’re grateful for. People from different countries eat different food and talk in different languages but, we all talk about family and happiness. Anyways, food is different for everyone.
