All you need to know about the Body Reset Diet

The Body Reset Diet is one of the more odd diets that you could do, it consists of you having to drink smoothies in three phases for 15 days straight. It is basically making you eat more and work out less. It was created by Harley Pasternak, and he has helped many celebrities with this diet since 2012 “The Revolution” in 2012 and has worked with celebrities including Ariana Grande, Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga, Gwyneth Paltrow, Adam Levine, Megan Fox, Rihanna, Kanye West, Bono and Katy Perry,”  ( It can cost anywhere between $100-$1500 depending on how long you are choosing to do it.

A couple of pros of this diet is that you lose weight fast, you eat very clean food, it also will jump-start your metabolism, and you also get results fast. Some cons are that if you do it for a while, it wont work as much, or you could lose too much weight. Every day you have to drink smoothies for every meal, then for the second part of the diet you must drink 2 smoothies a day. Once it gets to the third part of the diet, you drink one smoothie a day.

Some long term effects of the Body Reset Diet, is that it could stop working as well and you could get sick because of the lack of normal, solid, food. In the article, “What is the Body Reset Diet?” it states that it doesn’t give the right amount of calories you need. “These diets provide far fewer calories than is generally recommended, which leads to weight loss” ( Thus preventing you to have a continuous healthy body weight for a long time.

There is no current data about this diet and the scientific effects yet, but it will help you lose a lot of weight. “Pasternak doesn’t have data on the results, either short term or long term, and it ultimately depends on someone’s starting weight, previous diet, age, and other factors” ( But it might not be the best because you are cutting out carbs for a while and that is not good for you.

All and all, I think this is a semi good diet to choose. You lose the weight you want but it might not be the best for your body in general. Not the best for nutrition but you drink a lot of fruits and vegetables. In my opinion, this isn’t the best diet and I wouldn’t try it but it might depend on the person and what they need.
