Bubble Gum Day is on the first Friday of February. It was made for school fundraisers around the country. On this particular day, students help raise money and help charities. They donate fifty cents to able to chew gum in class on Bubble Gum Day.

Bubble Gum Day was founded in 2006 by Ruth Spiro, a children’s book author and mother. She made Bubble Gum Day because she wanted a day focused on education and fundraising. Students were especially excited for this day because they were able to chew gum for 50 cents without getting in trouble.

Bubble Gum Day is a way to teach students about charity and responsibility. Also, the school does not need to supply any materials or gum for the fundraiser. All they do is collect money for the fundraiser! Anyways, celebrate Bubble Gum Day.
