Digital art is art made with a computer or any type of technology. It includes hand drawn drawings on a computer. Digital art can also include animation and 3D virtual sculptures. It’s the type of art that can be viewed in many different ways. You can post digital art on almost all social media platforms.

Digital art is a type of art that uses technology. The first digital art piece was made by Kenneth Knowlton in the 1980s, in the 1980s computer engineers made a paint program that helped start digital art. Digital art had to have experiments before everyone was able to use it. The first digital art experiment piece was in 1965

The term digital art was first used in the 1980s. Digital art would not be here without computers. Computers were first made in the 1940s. Artists first began to explore computer art in the 1950s early the 60s there were many art exhibits using computers to show art.  German artist Frieder Nake created a computer algorithm that caused it so the computer could draw shapes. The computer was programmed with a list of instructions. 

A pixel is a small element of an image when many pixels are combined. When a lot of pixels are combined they can make a large and complete image.

Even though digital art has been around for a long time it is still used in 2020. Many people use it in many different ways. There are a lot of different tools and tricks in digital art. Some apps to do digital art on are apps like Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, and Medibang paint etc. digital art is both a combination of technology and art.

Digital art is something that many people use in their daily lives, there have been so many new things added on to it. People can be more creative because of what digital art has become. Digital art has come a long way from where it began.
